The ‘Ride Global’ team is made up of a group of ordinary people who share a passion for motorcycles and supporting good causes to help others less fortunate than ourselves. Together we want to remember loved-ones we’ve lost as a result of Covid-19 and our objective is to raise awareness and monies for COVAX, ensuring global equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines to developing nations. Our mission is to have bikers in 99 countries riding across the globe and following the sun in 24 hours on the 5th September 2021. To unite as one to raise money for COVAX in memory of the people who have died as a result of the Coronavirus and to help safeguard the living by making the vaccine available to more people in impoverished countries so we can fight this devastating disease.
Please donate only what you can afford so we can help those less fortunate than ourselves in the fight against this devastating global disease
About Ride Global
In memory of those lost through the Pandemic
The Memorial Ride is the brainchild of David J. Greensmith following the sudden and unexpected death of a family member through Covid-19. A keen motorcyclist and true altruistic, he is the founder of the Memorial Ride and co – founder with Faisal Malik for Ride Global, there vision is to bring together bikers from around the world to help raise funds to fight this destructive epidemic of infection disease known as Coronavirus.
All monies will be donated to COVAX, co-led by Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and we will be liaising closely with The World Health Organisation to agree on the best way to support this fundraising initiative. Our aim is to raise funds for COVAX the global drive to vaccinations against this pandemic that affects us all regardless of religion or ethnicity.
